The Gardeners Dictionary (с англ. — «Словарь садовода») — широко известный и часто цитируемый ботанический справочник английского ботаника шотландского происхождения Филипа Миллера (1691—1771).
Первое издание «Словаря» было опубликовано в апреле 1731 года, и книга сразу же стала настолько популярной, что уже в следующем году несанкционированная копия издаётся в Дублине, став первой из многих пиратских книг, отпечатанных там[1]. Издание предназначалось в первую очередь для садоводов и, как правило, фокусировалось на растениях, выращиваемых в Англии. В восемнадцатом веке в Англии началось массовое внедрение новых растений, поступавших со всего мира, в справочнике Миллера были описаны, классифицированы и названы многие из них, даны рекомендации для их культивирования в условиях Британии.
При жизни автора было опубликовано восемь изданий.
Стандартное обозначение названия книги при использовании в номенклатурных цитатах — Gard. Dict. Abr.[2]
После смерти автора труд был переиздан в 4-х томах Джорджем Доном под названием «A general system of gardening and botany. Founded upon Miller’s Gardener’s dictionary, and arranged according to the natural system»[3].
