Джеймс Эдди (1927—1998) — американский философ XX века. Влиятельный феноменолог.
Биография
Родился в Северной Дакоте. Учился в университетах США и Европы. В Бельгии получил звание доктора философии. Знал не менее шести языков. Затем преподавал в Иллинойсе вплоть до ухода в отставку. Вместе с соратниками основал философское феноменологическое общество SPEP (en:Society for Phenomenology and Existential Philosophy (SPEP)[1]. Скончался от рака в своем доме во Флориде[2][3].
